The Development & Regeneration service aims to support a vibrant and sustainable local economy in Bath & North East Somerset by:
suppporting local businesses and creation/retention of jobs
promoting investment in communities
promoting key industries such as Tourism
developing the local workforce
The unit also leads on the implementation and monitoring of "Towards 2013", the ten year Economic Strategy for the district, which has been developed in partnership with a wide range of local organisations. As with the deployment of this website, the Council firmly believes in bringing together the activities of all local business support agencies.
